Woodbury Middle School leaders recognized by Minnesota Association of Secondary School Principals

Woodbury Middle School Principal Karin Lopez and Assistant Principal Kelli IsaksonWoodbury Middle School Principal Karin Lopez and Assistant Principal Kelli Isakson were recently named the best middle school principal and secondary assistant principal in Ramsey, Dakota and Washington counties by the Minnesota Association of Secondary School Principals.

“We are proud of the exceptional leadership displayed by Kari and Kelli. This recognition highlights their continuing effort to make Woodbury Middle School a place where all students feel welcomed and included,” said Julie Nielsen, South Washington County Schools Assistant Superintendent.

Lopez and Isakson were nominated by peers from their division of the association. They were selected after a leadership committee at the association reviewed the nominations and conducted research into the candidates. Lopez and Isakson will be formally recognized at the association's summer conference in June.
