Woodbury Middle School serves students in sixth through eighth grades and is part of South Washington County Schools. The school offers a comprehensive curriculum and a community that fosters a culture of excellence in academics, character and global citizenship.

At Woodbury Middle School, each grade is divided into "houses" with one group of students working with one group of teachers throughout the school year. These teachers work as a team to help every student succeed.

Woodbury Middle School is an Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) National Demonstration School. The AVID program helps students develop organizational skills and study habits so they can be successful students. The school is also home to South Washington County Schools’ Middle School Spanish Immersion Program.

Technology is an important part of learning at Woodbury Middle School. Each student has access to personalized online learning software.

Along with academics, there are many extracurricular and leadership opportunities at Woodbury Middle School including athletics, music, theater, robotics and service-learning clubs. All students are encouraged to explore their interests and become involved in their school.
